Whether it be a weekend breakaway or an extended stay there is plenty to do in and around Penguin. There is much history here in Penguin -  from 1861 when Penguin was first founded. We have a local History Group that is opened to the public every Wednesday from 9.00 am till 12.00 pm all welcome. We have fabulous walks both short and long around Penguin, a local family park just a short walk from the Caravan Park, with free gas bbq and ducks for the children to feed. Also just a stone throw away (2 minute walk) a small playground with bbq and miniature train rides every 2nd Sunday for the children.
Child with Fish
Even the children can catch a fish when staying at

Miniature train
Hiscutt Parks Windmill was built and presented to the community on the 1st October 1988 as a gift in the Bi-Centennial Year, in honour of the Dutch settlers here in Penguin, it is a great place to bbq, play cricket, feed the local ducks & enjoy family.
Our miniature railway is set up by our local volunteers and runs every second Sunday from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm. In the same location is the bbq area and play ground and only a hop skip & jump from your camp.
